US: Camera Captures People Fleeing After Shooting at Santa Monica Pier

A shooting broke out after a large fight erupted among multiple individuals at the Santa Monica Pier in California on Sunday night, March 15, sending bystanders scrambling for safety. Two people were injured — one shot in the arm, the other suffering a graze wound. The second victim was later identified as the suspected shooter, Jaysawn Williams, 18, of Rialto. He was arrested and booked on charges of assault with a firearm. This video was shot from Pacific Plaza Santa Monica Apartments in front of the pier, capturing people running for safety. The video was recorded at 9:00 p.m.
